We are looking for a Social Media Manager who loves pop culture, the entertainment industry and the internet. This person will join our award-winning strategy team within a full-service digital agency. This role will participate in the development of brand and campaign strategies across top tier clients and industries and manage the execution of channel strategies, content ideations, fan/community engagement and digital-first stunts. This role is perfect for someone with experience in innovative content strategies that tap culture, especially in entertainment, and knows the top brands / networks / shows / players out there through incredible instincts for social. We are a boutique agency and this role will be on a fast-paced team who loves to collaborate with tons of room for growth.

What You'll Do
  • Join teams to craft social media campaigns to drive awareness, engagement, and tune-in for TV shows
  • Participate in strategic framework development for current work and new pitches
  • Define voice and tone identities for brands on social media
  • Oversee editorial calendar and work with producers to craft copy and publish to social channels
  • Develop recommendations for new social initiatives and engagement strategies for clients
  • Create content and activation ideas that follow the strategic framework
  • Manage and nurture social communities through various tools including copywriting and daily community management 
  • Be the day-to-day point of contact on social campaigns
  • Lead client calls and prepare strategic recommendations on the spot
  • Lead live-tweeting / war room initiatives for high profile campaign launches
  • Ensure content is approved, delivered and posts are published and optimized for each platform and timely manner and error-free
  • Create recap reports at pre-defined intervals
  • Stay abreast of ever-changing social media trends, new platforms and algorithm updates
What You Have
    • 3-5 years social media community and campaign management experience (Entertainment experience a plus)
    • Clear comprehension of social best practices and what’s on the cusp digitally
    • Passionate about all things entertainment/TV/Film/Streaming
    • Painstaking attention to detail and project management 
    • Stellar writing and communication skills
